Your submission will undergo a thorough double-blind peer-review process, after which the conveners will notify you of the outcome by email, no later than the end of January 2027.

Required qualifications:

1. No more than six years should have passed since finishing your final degree, or
2. No more than six years should have passed since your first academic appointment.
3. Other scholars such as monks and nuns should demonstrate a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 15 years of engagement with the broader field of Tibetan studies.

If these guidelines are unclear in any way, or not applicable to your situation, please do not hesitate to contact us. Masters students, who, at the time of the Seminar, will have graduated, are required to provide a letter of recommendation from their supervisor (directly to isyt2027koreauniversity@gmail.com).

Participants:

Participants are generally required to present a paper. Papers will be subjected to a time limit of 30 minutes (including 10 minutes for questions) and may be presented in English or Tibetan.

All papers should present the results of original research and should be based on the use of primary sources. Participants should not present papers that have been given at other conferences or published elsewhere.
